Hello Everyone!

So the day has come when my album BEYOND TOMORROW is available online for Download! I am happy to Announce that both Itunes and Amazon are both carrying my album. For all you that have showed your support and asked that question ” Where can I get your album?” you can now have your wishes granted. Its been a long and winding road making this album. From NYC to Rio de Janeiro and back to NYC, the journey has been revealing, mysterious, thrilling, stressful, suspenseful, surprising and last but not least joyful.

Eber Pinheiro from Rio co-produced the album with me. He’s bad ass engineer/producer and our talents go well together. Dave Kutch at THE MASTERING PALACE who has mastered such great artists like Alicia Keys, John Legend and the Roots mastered the album. Amazing musicians such as Jonathan Maron, Yuval Lion,Nunzio Signore, Lucy Woodward, Everett Bradley, Dave Eggar and Aya graced the album with their magic touch. My Brazilian Crew- Alex Prol, Felipe Pinaud and the Funky Brazilian Horn Section gave me their Rio swing to complete it all. I must warn you it is a very eclectic album. It is ery good for people who like to travel between many moods and emotions and who are easilly bored by predictability. From the sacred to the profane- it’s all there for your listening pleasure. I have been wanting to reveal certain musical sides of myself for a while so now the time has come.

I thank everyone who gave me so much support during this crazy process, you know who you are.

New Lucy Woodward Video

Here is a new video for “Ragdoll” by Lucy Woodward from her new album on Verve called “Hooked”. I co-wrote this with Lucy & Steven Sater (Lyricist for Spring Awakening musical) and produced the track.

Lucy is a long time collaborator and friend for those who aren’t familiar with her work. She is one of the best singers out there by far. Check it out.

Beyond Tomorrow

Itaal Shur’s new album is a result of a journey inward to uncover the music he put on hold while he was busy working with other artists as a songwriter and producer.

Recorded in New York City and Rio de Janeiro during the end of 2009 and the beginning of 2010 it shows his range of emotion as a composer and links the different elements of his style together into a eclectic but cohesive whole. Featuring musicians from New York and Rio de Janeiro “beyond tomorrow” is an album that Itaal has been waiting to make for a long time. Now its time for the world to hear it.
